If you have made one for you home, what about your business? The devastating fires across Australia this fire season are a timely reminder. If you don't think you need one then check out the questions on the rural fire service website which I have put below...you might be surprised. http://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/dsp_content.cfm?cat_id=4073
Do you need a bush fire survival plan?
Does you area have a history of bush fires?
Do you have many trees or shrubs around your home?
If you need to leave your home would you need to travel through bush land?
Is your Bush Fire Survival Plan more than one year old?
If you answered YES to any of these questions you need a Bush Fire Survival Plan. Don't put it off!
Complete the plan with your family and work colleagues so that everyone knows what to do in the event of a fire.
In emergencies things never go to plan so if you choose to leave early or stay and defend make sure you have a plan B or back-up plan. Your bushfire survival plan will walk you through these steps.
If you already have a paper copy why not review it with the app version. You can find the Bushfire Survival Plan application on the link below.

And remember if you make a plan remember to share it with your family members especially your children, for businesses employees so they know the plan!
