Handy Resources

Some useful home made remedies / tools for safety in the workplace (and a couple for home). Training

• Training.gov.au - Australia's national competency body responsible for establishing competency standards. Browse the industry packages to select the one you are after and then search for that particular package framework. • Open Colleges - http://www.opencolleges.edu.au/careers/why-and-how-to-become-a-occupational-health-and-safety-professional Open Colleges has teamed up with the National Safety Council of Australia to custom-design this course with OHS industry professionals and it is highly recommended if you are aiming to step up into an OHS supervisor or manager role. http://www.opencollegesgroup.com.au/

• Treat Mesothelioma - a support community run by volunteers to support sufferers. This website contains information on asbestos, mesothelioma cancer, treatment options and much more.
